NASCAR DRIVER BIFFLE

The Sunset Speedway has a part owner in the dirt race track. NASCAR Driver Greg Biffle has purchased shares in the dirt tracks in Banks and other tracks in Oregon. Greg Biffle will visit Speedway Park on Saturday July 23, 2011 and will do some exhibition racing for the fans. Biffle will be available race day for photographs and signatures. Times and cost will be posted on Sunset SpeedwayPark.com web site.

Banks Chamber has organized a GREEN TEAM to encourage ”Reduce Waste” program in your local businesses. Click on the Green Team page for recycle tips of the month. Krissy’s Restaurant

Maddie Kay Cafe is now under new management beginning 1 January 2011. The new name will be Krissy’s Cafe. Operations will be seven days a week, Sunday – Thurs. 6am to 2pm. Friday and Sat. 6am – 9pm for dinner.

If you haven’t tried the Banks Trail Cafe hospitality and good food, you must make it a priority to stop in for GOOD FOOD & GOOD ESPRESSO COFFEE. The family type restaurant has GOOD CONVERATION as well with the owners (Sarah and Jeremy) and other visitors. The cafe also has many brochures relating to tourism in the Banks Community as well as in Washington County.
