L.L. Stub Stewart State Park, Washington County is located just seven miles NW of Bank on Highway
47. It is the first overnight camping state park built in 20 plus years. The Banks/Vernonia Trail
State Park runs through Stub Stewart State Park from Banks to Vernonia - the trail from Banks to Vernonia is approximately
20 minles. Besides the B/V trail, there are several miles of walking and horse trails built within Stub Stewart State
Park. Located at the North end of Stub Stewart is the horse friendly camping sites and trails.
